SEDDIF meeting organized by HAKOM

 Zagreb, February 23, 2016 - Organized by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), a two-day forum on the implementation of the digital dividend in southern Europe - SEDDIF (South European Digital Dividend Implementation Forum) began in  Zagreb. The forum gathered representatives of regulatory bodies of Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey. HAKOM was represented by Željko Tabakovic, Deputy Director of HAKOM, Ivančica Sakal, Head of Radiocommunications, Miran Gosta, Head of Broadcasting, and Kresimir Sakic, an expert in broadcasting.
SEDDIF was established in order to enable easier optimization and international coordination of the remaining spectrum for broadcasting at the regional level. The results of the work of this forum will contribute to the process of international coordination of frequencies needed for the transition to DVB-T2, and freeing spectrum of the digital dividend for other services in mobile communications networks.
