Regional Workshop for Europe and the CIS, on Spectrum Management

The Regional Workshop for Europe and CIS, on "Spectrum Management and the transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting" was organized between 05-07 May 2015 in Budapest, by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with the National Authority for Media and Infocommunications of Hungary (NMHH).
This workshop was organized within the European Regional Initiative adopted by WTDC-14 Spectrum Management and Digital Switchover, which seeks to provide a basis for the exchange of best practices encountered in the process of transition to digital terrestrial television broadcasting and works towards maximizing the economic and social benefits of the digital dividend. Also, an important place in the topics that were discussed was the further development of unified approaches in order to increase the advantages that this transition will bring to the region of Central-Eastern Europe and how to improve spectrum management.
