ICTA Chairman on the Turkish spectrum auction: "Target price – exceeded."
Ankara, 27 August 2015 – Yesterday, the Chairman of the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (ICTA), Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, made a statement to reporters showing that the selection procedure known as the IMT-Advanced 4.5 G auction has come to a total price of 3.960 billion euros for the 375.4 MHz acquired by the operators. These revenues are 1.5 times the minimum price. The operators will begin to provide 4.5 G services since 1 April 2016.
