ANRCETI took part in two WGs of EaPeReg

 Chișinău, 23 February 2017 - During 20 - 22 February, a group of specialists of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova (ANRCETI) took part in the meetings of two working groups set up by the Group of  Electronic Communications Regulators of the Eastern Parnership countries (EaPeReg): on rradio spectrum issues (Spectrum Expert Working Group - SEWG) and on benchmarking issues (Benchmarking Working Group - BEWG). The events were held in Tbilisi, Georgia, and were attened by representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, R. of Moldova, Ukraine, as well as by relevant experts from several EU Members States - Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania.

The participants in the two meetings presented the market and regulatory trends in the field in the countries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), respectively the status of the frequency bands 470 – 694 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz and the implementation of the first Digital Dividend, the activities of the regional coordination groups, and discussed on the technical alements of the Digital Dividend and on the future of the UHF band.
