ANRCETI extended the frequency spectrum to be used license-free by owners of short-range devices
Chișinău, 21 March 2016 - The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) extended the number of frequency bands for non-specific radio applications for detection and accumulation of data, systems of traffic control, applications used by legal entities and individuals owners of short-range devices (SRD).
The new regulation establishes the frequency bands for 14 types of SRD, intended for radio applications, which can be used license-free and are not subject to authorizations/permits. The users of these frequencies are required to comply with the technical specifications set in the Technical Regulation "Technical Parameters for Short-Range Devices", in line with the recent Recommendations of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).
