ANRCETI at a workshop for electronic communications regulators from Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries
Chișinău, 7 October 2015 - A group of specialists from the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) are taking part in a workshop for electronic communications regulators from Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, devoted to Network and information security. The workshop is taking place in in Vilnius, Lithuania, within the technical assistance project of the European Commission "Networks of electronic communications regulators from EaP countries" (EaPeReg).
The event is attended by representatives of regulators from five EaP countries (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine), experts from EU member states and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). The purpose of these meetings is to provide the necessary support to EaP regulators in harmonizing regulatory practices in electronic communications with European standards.
EaPeReg Network was founded in September 2012 in a Chisinau meeting of the EaP regulators. Its mission is to ensure exchange of information and experience between EaP and EU regulators in harmonization of national legal and regulatory frameworks to EU Acquis and application of best European regulatory practices.
